Our dear friend Terry was a popular face in the world of Scottish country dancing. His commitment to teaching and promoting Scottish dancing, especially to children, was amazing. For 50 years or more he has taught hundreds of children in Darlington the joy of dancing many of whom are still dancing along with the next generations. No-one could fail to see the enjoyment he got from the music and dances on a programme. His laugh and enery were infectious and lifted the spirits of dancers and musicians alike and we will miss him.
